USAY (Urban Society for Aboriginal Youth)

This series of graphic novels was developed in close collaboration with educators, elders, and fluent language speakers to ensure accuracy and cultural appropriateness. Through their collective wisdom and guidance, the stories were crafted to reflect authentic Blackfoot language, traditions, and values. This collaborative approach guarantees that the graphic novels serve as culturally relevant and respectful educational resources. By incorporating visual and narrative elements, graphic novels makes language acquisition more accessible and enjoyable.
